Sound Familiar?
If this sounds like you…
- You stopped doing things you love — the hike, the class, the workout — because your body does not feel like yours anymore and no one has been able to tell you why
- You have been told your symptoms are normal for your age — and some part of you has almost started to believe it
- You modified the routine, skipped the class, said no to the activity — and told yourself it was fine when it was not
- You are not sure if you need a doctor, a trainer, a Pilates studio, or something else entirely — only that what you are doing is not working
- You have started planning your day around what your body can and cannot handle — and you cannot remember when that became normal
- You want to feel strong, confident, and at home in your body again — but every program you have tried wasn’t designed for where you actually are right now
We are here to tell you — this is not just what getting older feels like. Not even close.
What Waiting Costs
Nobody decides to stop. You just start saying no.
First it’s the second half of the hike. Then it’s the hike. Then it’s “go without me, I’ll meet you for lunch.” There’s no day you make the decision and no conversation about it. Your life just gets one yes smaller at a time — and then the group text goes out about Saturday and you realize you’re not really in that group anymore.
That’s what women mean when they say they feel old. It has nothing to do with a birthday.
And it doesn’t hold still. Pelvic floor tissue doesn’t plateau after menopause — it keeps changing, whether or not anyone told you it would. Bone density doesn’t wait for you to get around to it. The version of this that takes four months to resolve at 54 is a different conversation at 66.
For many women, the most difficult part isn’t the symptom itself. It’s the loss of confidence that follows. And eventually, almost without realizing it, you begin adjusting your life around your body instead of trusting it.
— Dr. Dawn Andalon, DPT, The Pelvic & Core Reset™
your guide
Dr. Dawn kept hearing the same sentence, and it was never true.
For more than twenty years, women sat in front of her and said a version of the same thing: I've tried everything, and nothing really helped.
They weren't inactive. They weren't ignoring their health. They weren't unwilling to do the work. They had simply been handed the wrong tools for
the stage of life they were actually in — and then, often, been told some version of that's it, we've done all we can for you, you're done.
She and her husband, Dr. Oscar Andalon, DPT — both physical therapists — had watched that sentence get said inside traditional practice models for years. Rushed sessions. Two or three women at once. No room to actually listen. So in 2016 they built the practice they'd wanted to send those women to instead — a full hour of undivided attention, a team that actually talks to each other about every client, and no deadline on a woman's healing.
Then it became clear that physical therapy alone wasn't the whole answer. Women needed somewhere to keep getting stronger after the symptoms resolved. So she trained the Pilates side herself, in her own method, so there was no gap to fall through.
What still drives her is the same thing it was twenty years ago: watching a woman walk out of a session standing differently than she walked in. Not because she was fixed. Because she remembered she wasn't broken.

Four books, written to say what a seven-minute appointment can’t.
The Pelvic & Core Reset™
The method women over 40 use to heal bladder leaks, back pain, and core dysfunction.
It’s Never Too Late
For women navigating menopause who want to stay active, strong, and healthy.
Thrive, Not Survive Over 40
For women done just managing symptoms and ready to feel fully alive.
Beyond Nine Months
For rebuilding strength and confidence after childbirth.
The Method
The method isn’t the program. It’s how we find yours.
Every woman here starts with the Revive Movement Screen™. It is how we find out what your body actually needs — not what worked for someone else with the same symptom.
What comes out of it is a program built for you, using Dr. Dawn’s Pelvic & Core Reset™ Method. Two women the same age with the same complaint routinely leave with completely different plans. Nothing here is off a shelf.
What doesn’t change is the standard, or the team. Every specialist here — physical therapists and Pilates instructors both — is personally trained by Dr. Dawn, and we meet as a team about every client. So whoever you’re with already knows your history and what you’re working toward.
Nobody here is a solo act, and nobody here is the star.
One Promise, Two Ways In
Both start the same way: one hour, one-on-one, a plan for the body you have now.

Sixty minutes, one-on-one with a women's health specialist. We start with the Revive Movement Screen™ — we watch how you move, listen to what's been going on, and design your first session around your body, not around a format twelve other women are also doing. You'll leave knowing which classes are right for you and why.
No prior experience required. Whether you've never tried Pilates before or you tried it once and walked away, this is the same starting line.
Your first step into Pilates that's actually built for you.
There Is a Version of You That Does Not Plan Around Pain, Does Not Modify Around Fear, and Does Not Settle. She Is Not Gone. She Is Waiting.
Many women come to us after years of being told that pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder leaks, or back pain are simply part of getting older. They are not.
With specialized pelvic floor physical therapy and therapeutic Pilates in Encinitas, CA — designed specifically for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and the physical changes of midlife — your body can become something you trust again. Not managed. Not modified around. Trusted.

What Makes Revive the Only Practice of Its Kind in North County
— The revive difference
Most Pilates is fitness. Most PT is rushed. We are the only practice in North County that brings
them together — and trains every instructor in the same proprietary method.
When you pay directly, every decision gets made for one person — you. No insurance approvals. No session caps. No six-visit limit. And because our specialists meet as a team about every client, you are never explaining yourself from scratch — whoever you're with knows where you left off and what you're training for. If someone is out sick or on vacation, your care doesn't pause and you don't start over. Whether you're here for therapeutic Pilates, physical therapy, or both, the same standard applies.

A Clear Path From Where You Are to Where You Want to Be
01.
Start With a Pilates Intro Session or a Discovery Visit
A focused 60-minute, in-person visit at our Encinitas studio. If you’re ready to build strength for the body you have now, that’s a Pilates Intro Session. If you’re navigating pain, leaks, or a specific concern, that’s a Discovery Visit — a complete clinical evaluation including a pelvic floor screen if needed, movement assessment, postural analysis, and a written action plan you take home. Either way, we listen. Then we tell you honestly whether we can help.
02.
We Find Out What Your Body Actually Needs
We run the Revive Movement Screen™, then our team builds your program around what it found — using Dr. Dawn’s Pelvic & Core Reset™ Method. Hands-on work, pelvic floor rehabilitation, targeted core work, therapeutic Pilates: whatever combination is right for your body. Nothing generic. Nothing guessed.
03.
You Get Your Active Life Back
You go back to the hike, the gym, the class you quietly gave up. You stop planning your day around your symptoms. You pick up your grandchildren without bracing. You stop describing yourself by what your body can’t do.
And then you don’t stop. Most women stay — because by then it isn’t treatment anymore, it’s just how they train.

— NOW IS THE TIME. DON’T WAIT ANY LONGER.
Most Women Tell Us It Was the First Time They Ever Felt Truly Listened To.
The women who walk through our doors have usually tried everything else first. They stretched, they rested, they saw the chiropractor, they did the Kegels. They were told to modify around it.
If that sounds like you — your first conversation with us is the one you have been waiting to
have. One honest answer about what is actually going on in your body and what is possible.
No pressure. No commitment.
