Careers at Revive PT & Pilates · Encinitas, CA

You're Good at This.
You Just Need Somewhere That Lets You Do It Properly.

Revive is a private-pay women's health practice in Encinitas — small, all-female, and built around one idea: that the people who care for women should be given the time, the training, and the standards to do it well.

We are always open to meeting the right person. Not because we have six seats to fill, but because the right person is rare enough that we would rather know you before we need you.

The Practice

The Practice You Always Wished You Worked At.

Revive is one studio in Encinitas with a small, all-female team. Every woman who comes here is seen one-on-one, for as long as her body needs, by someone trained in the same method.

That is unusual, and it is deliberate. We are private-pay, which means no insurance company decides how long a session runs, when care ends, or what counts as progress. What that buys is not luxury — it is the ability to do the work properly and to build a team that does not burn out doing it.

Everyone here holds the same standard, whether they are treating a woman's pelvic floor, teaching her to move, or answering the phone when she calls frightened for the first time.

Client Services

The First Voice She Hears.

A woman calling us has usually been dismissed somewhere else first. She has been told it is normal, or part of aging, or that there is nothing to be done. By the time she picks up the phone she is often embarrassed, and she is definitely tired of explaining herself.

How that call goes decides whether she ever comes in.

This is not a receptionist role and we do not treat it like one. You are the person who makes a frightened woman feel known in ninety seconds. You hold the schedule, the follow-ups, and the details that make the practice feel calm from the outside. You will be trained in what we do and why, because you cannot reassure someone about something you do not understand.

If you are organized, genuinely warm, and unflappable when someone is upset, this is the seat where that combination matters most.

“What I miss most about Revive is the people. It was one of those rare places where you genuinely looked forward to seeing your coworkers and your clients. We worked hard, laughed a lot, celebrated each other's wins, and everyone cared about giving clients an experience they wouldn't get anywhere else. It never felt like I was just showing up for a job.”

Physical Therapy

Practice the Way You Believed It Should Work.

You did not go into physical therapy to hit a productivity number. You went in because you wanted to be the person who figured it out — and then you found out how little time the system gives you to actually do that.

At a traditional insurance-based clinic

  • —  Rushed, double-booked sessions and productivity quotas
  • —  You treat what insurance approves, not what the body needs
  • —  Discharge is dictated by a billing code, not real progress
  • —  Endless documentation eats the time you would rather spend caring
  • —  You rarely see how the story ends
  • —  Burnout, turnover, and a caseload that never feels like enough

At Revive PT & Pilates

  •   One-on-one, unrushed sessions — the woman in front of you is the only one in the room
  •   You treat the root cause, using a proven clinical method
  •   Care continues as long as she needs it — no arbitrary end dates
  •   Every specialist is trained in Dr. Dawn's Pelvic & Core Reset™ Method
  •   A small, all-female team that shares your standards
  •   You watch women get their lives back — and you grow instead of burn out

We look for at least two years of pelvic floor experience. A Pilates certification is a major plus — our PTs are Pilates-certified, and a clinician who can work on the reformer as well as hands-on is genuinely rare.

Dr. Dawn will train you in the Pelvic & Core Reset™ Method herself. You will also sit in case roundtables with the Pilates instructors, working real cases together, because the woman you treat on Tuesday is on a reformer with them on Thursday.

What we cannot train is curiosity and heart. If you have those and the experience behind them, we can teach you the rest.

★★★★★

“At Revive, I've never felt like I had to choose between having clinical autonomy and having support. I'm trusted to use my judgment and treat the person in front of me—not follow a cookie-cutter protocol—but I also know I have experienced clinicians and owners I can turn to when I want another perspective. There's a genuine commitment here to learning, mentorship, and becoming better at what we do. Most importantly, we're given the time and freedom to provide the level of care our clients deserve. I get to practice the way I always imagined healthcare should be practiced.”

Therapeutic Pilates

Teach Women Whose Bodies You Actually Understand.

You have taught the class where a woman mentions her prolapse on the way out the door. Or the one where someone is guarding her back and you can see it, and there is nobody to ask, and you have five other people on reformers.

Teaching movement well to women over 40 requires knowing what is going on underneath — and most studios give you no way to find out.

Here, every client has been evaluated before she reaches you. You know what her pelvic floor is doing, how she loads, what her surgeon said. Classes cap at six. You are trained in the same method the clinical team uses, and you sit in the same case roundtables they do — not down the hall from the physical therapists, but working through the same women's bodies with them.

Certification and a real love of intentional movement are required. Everything else, Dr. Dawn teaches you.

★★★★★

“Teaching Pilates at Revive feels completely different from simply leading a class. I get to know my clients—their goals, their limitations, what they're working through, and what they want to be able to do again. I'm encouraged to think, adapt, and teach with purpose instead of following the same routine for everyone. I've learned so much from working alongside the physical therapy team, and it has made me a better instructor. The most rewarding part is watching a woman come in unsure of what her body can do and, months later, seeing her stronger, more confident, and excited about what she can do next. That's why I love teaching here.”

Melissa — Revive Pilates Instructor

The Part That Is Hard to Find Elsewhere

You Will Not Be Managed Here.
You Will Be Coached.

Dr. Dawn trains every person who works here. Not a handoff to a senior staff member, not a video series — her, in the room with you.

But the learning here is not one direction. Clinicians and Pilates instructors sit in the same roundtables, working real cases together. We run in-house in-services and workshops. A PT explains what she found in an evaluation; an instructor says what that woman does on a reformer when nobody is watching. Both get better.

That is unusual. Most practices keep clinical and movement staff on separate floors and separate training. Here they are studying the same woman, and it is the reason our instructors think like clinicians and our clinicians understand what movement can actually do.

Dr. Dawn does not think of herself as a boss. She thinks of herself as a coach — and she has built a team that coaches each other. That is the actual offer here, and it is worth more than a salary bump you would spend six months resenting.

★★★★★

“What stood out to me most about working at Revive was how invested the owners were in my growth. They didn't just tell me what was expected—they took the time to teach me, challenge me, and help me understand why we did things the way we did. I was trusted with more responsibility as I grew, encouraged to bring new ideas to the table, and supported when I needed guidance. I came to Revive looking for a job. I left with more confidence in myself, a higher standard for my work, and a much clearer idea of the professional I wanted to become.”

A Note From Our Founder

Why I Built Revive —
and Who I'm Looking For.

I spent thirteen years in traditional healthcare watching women get rushed, dismissed, and handed a sheet of generic exercises. I also watched talented clinicians burn out inside a system that never gave them the time to do their best work.

So I built the practice I wished existed — for the women we serve, and for the people who care for them. Here you will have the time, the method, and the team to practice the way you always believed care should feel.

I am not looking for someone to fill a seat. I am looking for someone who wants to master a craft, be part of something with real standards, and help women reclaim their bodies. If that is you, I would like to meet you.

“I've stayed at Revive because it's rare to find a place where you genuinely care about the work, the people you work with, and the people you get to help. There's a real sense that we're all working toward something bigger than just getting through the day. We support each other, celebrate each other's wins, and step in when someone needs help.
