FAQs

Regular physical therapy treats muscles, joints, and movement patterns throughout the body. Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized branch that focuses specifically on the muscles, nerves, and connective tissues that support your bladder, uterus, and bowel — an area that standard PT typically does not address at all.
At Revive, we go further than either approach alone. Because our team includes pelvic floor specialists who are also trained in orthopedic PT and therapeutic Pilates, we can see and treat the full picture — how your pelvic floor connects to your core, your spine, your hips, and your overall movement.
This means we can address things that most clinics miss entirely: why your back pain keeps coming back, why Kegels alone are not working, why your symptoms got worse after surgery. We find the root cause. That is what makes the difference.

Therapeutic Pilates is a clinically guided form of movement training — different from the Pilates you might find at a general fitness studio. Instead of following a standard class format, every exercise is chosen specifically for your body, your condition, and your goals.
It focuses on strengthening the deep stabilizing muscles of the core, hips, and pelvic floor that support your body during everyday movement — the muscles that most fitness programs either ignore or work incorrectly.
At Revive, therapeutic Pilates is delivered by specialists trained in both rehabilitation and movement — meaning if something is not working or something hurts, we know why and we know how to fix it. Sessions are private or small group, never more than five people, and always guided by a women's health specialist — not a general fitness instructor.
For women over 40 navigating pelvic floor issues, back pain, menopause, or surgical recovery, it is one of the most effective tools we have.

Yes — and in many ways it is most effective for women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. This is when pelvic floor changes become most noticeable, and when the right intervention makes the biggest difference in quality of life.
Symptoms like bladder leaks, pelvic heaviness, painful intimacy, back pain, and core weakness are not inevitable parts of aging. They are signals that something specific is not functioning the way it should — and most of them respond extremely well to targeted pelvic floor physical therapy.
We have worked with women in their 40s who thought they were too young to have these issues, women in their 60s who thought they had waited too long, and everything in between. In the vast majority of cases, the right care produces real, lasting results — without surgery, without medication, and without being told to just live with it.

It is completely free — no catch, no hidden fees, no obligation to continue after.
We offer this because we know that many women have had frustrating experiences with healthcare providers who rushed them through appointments without really listening. Before you commit to anything, we want to earn your trust.
This is a genuine 20-minute conversation with one of our women's health specialists. We will listen to what you have been experiencing, explain what may be going on, and give you an honest recommendation. If we are the right fit for you, we will tell you exactly how to get started. If we are not, we will tell you that too — and point you in the right direction.
No pressure. No sales pitch. Just answers.

If you are coming for Physical Therapy: Your first visit is all about understanding your story. We will sit down for a full evaluation, review your health history, and assess your movement, posture, and any symptoms you have been experiencing. From there we will begin gentle hands-on therapy and introduce therapeutic exercises tailored specifically to your body. You will leave feeling heard, supported, and clear on your path forward.
If you are coming for Pilates: Your first session begins with a one-on-one movement assessment so we can understand your goals, any injuries or health concerns, and how your body currently moves. You will be introduced to the reformer and guided through gentle, therapeutic exercises chosen specifically for you. Expect a calm, no-pressure environment focused on building your confidence and laying a strong foundation for long-term results.
In both cases — you will never be rushed, you will never feel like a number, and you will leave knowing exactly what your next step is.

Absolutely — you are welcome to bring a spouse, partner, family member, or friend.
Many of our clients find it helpful to have someone with them for support, or simply to help remember everything that was discussed. Some women bring their partner because the health changes they are navigating affect their relationship too — and we welcome that conversation.
Just mention it when you book so we can make sure there is comfortable space for everyone.

Most traditional PT clinics are built around insurance billing — which means shorter sessions, rotating therapists, and care plans designed around what insurance approves rather than what your body actually needs.
At Revive, we are a cash-pay practice. That means every decision we make is based entirely on what is right for you — not what an insurance company will reimburse. Your sessions are one-on-one, unhurried, and with the same specialist every time.
Every provider on our team is trained in Dr. Dawn Andalon's Pelvic & Core Reset™ Method — her proprietary clinical approach developed over 22 years of women's health practice. You are not getting a generic treatment protocol. You are getting a plan built around your body, your history, and your goals.
And unlike a standard Pilates studio, our team includes licensed physical therapists who can identify and treat the root cause of what is going on — not just teach you exercises and hope for the best.
Still on the fence? Here are the answers to the questions we hear most often:
Is it really free?
Yes — completely. No hidden fees, no obligation to continue, no sales pitch.
This is a genuine conversation, not a sales consultation.

Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a spouse, partner, or family member. Many of our clients find it helpful to have someone there for support.
